Reflex Mastercard® Review
It’s important to do extensive research on the Reflex credit card before you apply so you know what you’re signing up for. We’ve got all the information you need.
Security deposit & credit limit
One of the benefits of the Reflex credit card is that it’s unsecured. You don’t have to put down a security deposit to start using it. What’s more, the initial credit limit for Reflex Mastercard® ranges from $300 to $1,000, which is relatively high compared to other types of unsecured cards.
You may also be eligible for a limit increase after six months of being a cardholder. Of course, this option will be available only if you’ve made payments to your Reflex card every month. Your credit line can double to $2,000 if you consistently take care of your account.
Reflex Mastercard® fees
One of the drawbacks of any credit card is the fees involved. Reflex Mastercard® is no different. The Reflex card’s annual fee is $75 to $99, depending on your creditworthiness. In addition, there’s a monthly maintenance fee of between $0 – $10, but it will only be billed after 12 months of being a cardholder.
When you apply for the Reflex Mastercard®, you’ll also be subjected to a $30 card fee. And for late and returned payments, you’ll be charged up to $40. To avoid those penalty fees, you must make at least a minimum payment on the 25th of every month. Still, by paying your account in full you will also avoid paying interest on your purchases. The Reflex card has a relatively high APR. The variable rate is between 24.90% and 29.99%, depending on your creditworthiness.
Lastly, you’ll be charged either $5 or 5% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater. And if you’re using the card to purchase goods in another currency, you’ll be charged up to 3% of each transaction in US dollars. This fee, however, is waived for the first year.
Reporting to credit bureaus
To help you improve and build your credit, the Reflex card will report your payment activity to the three major credit bureaus – TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.
Additionally, if you sign up for the Reflex Mastercard® e-statements, you get free access to your VantageScore 3.0 from Experian. With this feature, you can track your credit score and make any necessary improvements to help you achieve your financial goals.

Reflex Mastercard® offers $0 fraud liability to cardholders. With this fraud protection plan, you can have peace of mind knowing that your card is fully protected. You won’t be liable for any unauthorized charges to your card. You will only be responsible for the purchases you make.
